  1. Hi there,
This will be my first ever race that I’ve entered and I’m doing the 10Km. I’m not the fastest of runners, I shall be wearing bright colours as suggested but the road closure will have ended before I get back. Is this an issue? Normal going on I can do 10k in around 1hr 2 mins, but I am aware it’s hilly so will take me longer.
    Is there a time limit?
Also, where will I be able to park?
Thank you so much for your help.

    • Hi Faith, congratulations on entering your first race! There will be many 10k runners still going after the road re-opens and it won’t be a problem – we have plenty of marshals, both static and mobile, to ensure the safeety of runners. There is no time limit so you need not worry about how long you take. You can park in the playing field in Carwinion Road – just follow the signs. Enjoy the day!

  2. Hi I have booked in to do the 10k but now realise it will be my son’s (long-awaited) graduation from university that weekend. Am i able to transfer my place to someone else?
    Thanks

  3. Sounds great. I’m considering entering the 10k run… I’ve been training for a while but it’d be my first organised event. What is the course route like? Is it reasonably flat or are there many inclines?

    Many thanks,

    Martin

    • Hi Martin, it’s a nice course along the lanes around Mawnan but there are hills – particularly on the 10k section coming out of the village, between Boskensoe and Tregarne. Why not have a drive along the route and see what you think? Details of the route are on the ‘Courses’ page.

  4. Is there a problem with the website tonight? I am trying to enter the fun run and it doesn’t allow move to next page after the contact information page.

    • Hi Julie, I’m not sure what exactly your problem is. You should be able to click on the entry link on the Entries page and that will take you to the Fabian4 entries system. Let us know if you are still having difficulties

  5. My daughters are 6 and 16 years old. They both want to run the fun run together, would my 16 year old be acceptable to be the responsible adult? We will be at the event but not running. I thought I would check before we register.
If you could let us know that would be great.

    Many Thanks
    Lyanne
